Agricultural Chemical Storage Container
A returning customer with a multiple-farm set up, located in Peterborough, required a 40ft high cube chemical store shipping container. The customer had previously ordered three 20ft chemical stores but were in need of a unit with greater square footage for their larger site.
The chemical store shipping container required only straightforward modifications, the most notable being the bunded floor. Specifications
The chemical store container was to be delivered to a commercial farm, and so it was required to meet specific Environmental Agency and Health and Safety Executive recommendations. Whilst all of Lion’s standard shipping containers guarantee safe and secure storage, chemical storage units entail more advanced criteria in order that hazardous substances such as chemicals, flammables and pesticides do not harm humans, animals or the environment.
These units also require reinforced protection against unauthorised entry, ensuring that untrained personnel do not gain access and possibly hurt themselves.
