They initially enquired about a 40ft tunnel chemical store container, but due to the space available, this size changed to 32ft. The unit was cut down from a 40ft container and was converted into a chemical store to include custom shelving, 150mm deep bunded floor, zone 1 lighting with switch, 16 louvred vents and RAL 6020 paintwork.

A new set of cargo doors were installed on one end, to create a tunnel container as per their original enquiry. The custom shelving was welded from the roof down, to provide access to the floor bunds when washing out the floor grilles in case of spillages, the shelving also included a lip to prevent anything rolling or falling off. The lighting was tested by an independent company prior to delivery, to ensure it was safe and in working order.

The unit was delivered to one of our clients sites in South Wales, and they were extremely happy with the final build.
