Bailey Caravans Limited who are based in Bristol are the longest established UK caravan manufacturers, with over sixty years experience in caravan design and production. I was honoured to speak with Ian Turner from the company who was in the market to purchase 3 x 20ft new (once shipped) containers for extra storage space on site. After we had established that 3 was the magic number I compiled a quote based on Ians specific requirement.
The quote was favourable with Ian, who then swiftly passed it over to his Managing Directors who were able to make a decision. We even managed to get all the containers in a RAL 5013 (blue) which is what Ian had requested. Once the managers approved the quote it all came down that all important question
. delivery! I swiftly passed Ians order over to our transport team who accessed the delivery location.
We felt that 3 separate vehicles would be better suited for this particular job as the country roads leading down to site were quite narrow, so 3 vehicles it was! Each container was sent down on a 20ft vehicle with HIAB facilities which meant the vehicles were able to deliver the units on site, and position the containers into place as well. We delivered 3 containers over two days, which all went onto site with no problems. This particular job is definitely one of my most enjoyable jobs whilst at Lion Containers, and believe me I have sold a few containers! It was a pleasure working with Ian on this job, there were no complications and the job went smoothly throughout the whole process. I would be delighted to work with Bailey Caravans again.
