A project manager of a very large and busy import and export company recently contacted us with the following request:  “we have an extremely competent team and there are many different hard working departments that need to be located in close proximity to best utilise their skills and improve efficiency. I was wondering if you have any modular type buildings that will cover 16 departments, with each department having 8-10 members of staff.” Priya responded and we are currently working on the job, we have included her response below.

I would recommend going for the 30ft since there will be 8-10 staff working within one department. Since you have 16 different departments, we can stack these modular buildings so we can have 8 on the bottom and the remaining 8 on top, or we can just lay all 16 out against each other. This is entirely up to you depending on what type of look you would like to go for, and depending on the space you have on site. We can even go three storeys high. We can partition the 16 departments so they all have their own office, or we can go for a large open plan space that will really maximize the building internally and will also allow all staff to work closely together if need be.

These modular buildings come in flat pack form, so they are quick and hassle free when erecting on site, and the best thing about them is how strong and sturdy there are. Toilets are a must when you have so many staff so we will also provide male and female toilets and even disabled access toilets. If you have staff who work very late shifts, and who are out on site all day, we can also provide shower units, and these can be installed to your bespoke requirements to suit your staff’s needs. These will come already installed so will not be in flat pack form. These units can be erected by yourself on site, or we can send one our team to do this for you at an additional cost.

The modular building will be suited to your own individual floor layout and can also be painted to suit your company’s colours.
